How does one successfully communicate?
By example.
By clarity.
By clarity.
By subtlety.
By intellectual adventure.
Ask, and we can learn together.
How do we communicate at Hedge Learning Services?
We write, research, teach, and tutor in the following areas:Humanities, Composition, Creative Writing, and College Survival Skills.
By what routes does Director Jackie Fulmer communicate?
Dr. Fulmer's research addresses how people express themselves indirectly through multiple modes: Literature, Folklore, Material Culture, and Film. Her published works encompass all these areas--Because the answers to the question,
"How do we communicate our ideas when formal or social barriers exist to bar their expression?", necessitate the use of "'all means of expression'" (Aristotle, on Rhetoric).
As a fiction writer, Dr. Fulmer treats the same question, only with more humor.
How does this research and writing benefit students?
The approach taken by instructors and tutors at Hedge Learning Services has given many students, from all walks of life, expanded routes to express their own previously unheard ideas.Former students have succeeded with their audiences, too:
They have won fellowships, scholarships, and prestigious internships after advanced training by the faculty at Hedge Learning Services. Many former students have gone on to become doctors, lawyers, teachers, social workers, journalists, lobbyists, entrepreneurs, and other well-employed professionals.
